SNC Cup opens 6 Jan. ‘06; Alumni games start 10 Jan. ‘06

The second season of the SNC-SPU Surigao Centennial Sports Activities dubbed as SNC Cup will open on January 6, 2006, 3:00 p.m. at the SPU Surigao Gymnasium. All players, students and alumni alike, together with their coaches, team captains, teachers and advisers are invited to witness not only the opening ceremonies, but also the rest of the games as scheduled. The alumni basketball games, however, will start on January 10, 2006 yet.

As agreed in the SNC Cup follow-up meeting on January 4, 2006 at the Alumni Office, in case of a triple tie, the quotient system shall be used and in case of a tie, the Win-over-the-other Rule shall be employed. Needless to say, each game is very important in determining the team standing.

Pursuant to guideline no. 9 of the SNC Cup General Guidelines, the following is the team grouping/bracketing:

The first games for the alumni category shall start on January 10, 2006, 5:00 p.m. at the SPU Surigao Gym.

Game 1: (A – F) 92 vs. 94 (Bracket A)

Game 2: (A – F) 96 vs. 99 (Bracket B)

Game 3: (B – E) 91 vs. 93 (Bracket A)
