To showcase the Nico-Paulinians’ love for music and the arts, the Centennial Culture and Arts Committee sponsored a Songwriting Contest based on the theme “SNC-SPU Surigao @ 100: Legacies and Challenges”.
To showcase the Nico-Paulinians’ love for music and the arts, the Centennial Culture and Arts Committee sponsored a Songwriting Contest based on the theme “SNC-SPU Surigao @ 100: Legacies and Challenges”. The elimination round for the said contest was held last December 10, 2005 at the SPU Surigao Gymnasium. Qualifying for the semi-finals on February 4, 2006, 7:30 p.m. are: “Nico-Paulinian on its 100 Years” composed and performed by Samuel R. Dapusala (HS Batch ’98); “Our Valued Patrons” composed and performed by Jesusa Ma. Elizabeth Sioson (HS); “That We Can Be” composed by Catherine Regañon and performed by Jerry Louie Go and Rowena Go (HS); “Nico-Paulinian Song” composed by Candyl Nazareth Almeda and Gretchelle Ysalina and performed by Sheena Calderon (HS); “New Family composed by Janrie B. Gamana and performed by Glenn Ortega and Everly Aisa Candontol (College); and “One Mind and Heart” composed by Rudymar Español and performed by John Paul Alipao and company (College).
